Bethel Library Foundation is a Non-profitable Christian Organization dedicated to serve man with books. It is a unit of Trust for evangelism and Missionary Development, a Government Registered Charitable religious Trust (Reg. No: 60/99/BK4). It is putting forth valuable contribution in the field of Education and Evangelism. Bethel Library foundation aims to establish on of the largest Christian Libraries of Asia. And as God provides it aims to start several branches all over Tamil Nadu, India. Bethel is a humble start but we could witness Almighty God working with us marvelously.

Objectives of the foundation

1. To assemble, preserve and administer Bibles of different versions in organized collection in order to promote thorough guidance and stimulation and enlightened citizenship and enriched personal lives.

2. To encourage all churches Evangelical ,Pentecostal, Full Gospel, Charismatic, Apostolic, etc., to advance, improve their Bible reading habit.

3. To Provide Bibles for research institutes and Bible institutes for research and academic excellence.

4. To disseminate information regarding the various Bibles, Christian books and literature available with different Christian presses and publications.

5. To serve the community as a general center of reliable information.

6. To distribute Bibles and Christian literature to the educated mass, Bible school students, Bible College students, lecturers, youth and Sunday school children.

7. To make known Bible as the chief all Literature.

8. To assist Christian presses and publications in distribution of their Bibles and Literature.

9. To assist in the Translation of Christian literature from English into Tamil Language.

10. To serve the community as a general center of reliable information.

11. To provide opportunity and encouragement, for children, young people, men and women to educate themselves, continuously.

12. To assist people to contribute to the growth of Christian knowledge, to make such use of knowledge to promote personal and social well-being.

13. To develop their creative and spiritual capabilities to make them more capable in their daily occupations to discharge political and social and religious obligations.

14. To enable them to become better members of home and community to keep pace with progress in all fields of Christian knowledge and to educate themselves continuously.

15. To provide Christian resources necessary for research in fields of special interests to universities and colleges.

16. To aid Christian university and college teachers in keeping abreast of developments in Christian literature field.

17. To provide library facilities and research necessary for all the success of all formal and informal programmes of Christian Education.

18. To open the doors to the wide world of Christian books that lie beyond the borders of one’s own field of specialization.

19. To bring books, students and scholars together under conditions which encourage Christian reading for pleasure, self-discovery, personal growth and the sharpening of intellectual curiosity.

20. To organize a Christian library and information network with effective communication system.

21. To cater the literature needs of the churches in this part of Globe.

22. To furnish up to date facts and information on Christian literature to one and all.

23. To distribute in an unbiased and balanced way all shades of Christian recorded issues and thought to one and all as to help in the discharge of their religious function in respect of local, national and international affairs.

24. To emerge as a reliable center for Christian information of all kinds and provide to one and all harmless and developing use of leisure.

Bethel is on the process of collecting and preserving Bibles and Christian books for its development, though it got few they are not sufficient. Herewith we appeal to your goodself to send us Bibles for preserving and reference . As free will offering runs this, we seek you to offer your materials free of cost. Surplus Bibles we always distribute to the needy. We are enclosing a profile of our organization. Kindly help us with your precious word of God to enlighten the people of Tamil Nadu, India. The vast majority of the people of Tamil Nadu are Hindus only 6 percent are Christians. There are also small groups of Jain, Muslims, and Parsees.
